Morning Terrier baseball family!

Sadly, the season is quickly coming to an end way too fast! BUT – We do still have lots more games and TWO of those are DH! You know what that means, PLATTER NIGHTS!

These are our biggest/busiest nights, and we need participation from everyone!

Our first Platter Night of 2025, we profited $1961.06. The second Platter Night of 2025 (reminder, this one was thrown together last minute) profited $1093.00. These numbers are not possible without the help of the parents within the program. Reminder, this profit is going back into the Byrd Baseball Program!

We are completely covered as far as concession workers for both Platter Nights, but we need food! I would REALLY love to see some new faces dropping off and some new dishes for these last two. If you have not already signed up to bring food, now is that opportunity!

MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS - I would be forever grateful to have some of the parents of my middle school players provide food for these events. I have seen some of these boys hitting home runs, so that tells me that these boys are eating! I need to know what it is y’all are feeding them! :) Bring out a dish or two, doesn’t need to be anything super fancy, doesn’t have to be homemade! Out of the last 2 platter nights I have had one parent (Thank you Julie!) provide a dish; 1 out of 17 kids – that is 5% participation. I KNOW we as a program can get this number higher; much higher! Middle school does not have games our next two platter nights, so these are perfect nights to be involved!

For all those that continue to show up and support, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! This program would not be what it is without the baseball community Vinton has!
